Our troubles started in Lima as we were told our luggage was checked through to Cusco, only to find

Our troubles started in Lima as we were told our luggage was checked through to Cusco, only to find our bags on the carousel. By the time we got through the line to check the bags again, we missed our flight. Latam was unapologetic, telling us we would have to book another flight. 12 hours later and on a different airline, we left for Cusco.

On the way home we were delayed from Cusco to Lima, missing our connecting flight in Lima again. After FOUR HOURS in line we finally got another flight to Miami, but when we got to Miami our tickets to fly home to Detroit didn't work. Another TWO HOURS with Delta and we got a flight to Detroit that put us about 14 hours behind our original arrival time.

Neither Delta nor Latam took an ounce of responsibility. This is unlike our usual interaction with Delta but we will NEVER fly Latam again!
