I decided to use the service for bulky items, specifically to have pillows washed, as doing it myself in my apartment has been quite time-consuming. The website indicated that pillows are considered bulky items and can be cleaned for a fee of 24.90 each. The order process, pickup, and delivery were all smooth, and the driver was friendly. However, I didn't check the pillows right away since I sent other items as well due to their pickup bag limit, and everything else seemed fine. When I finally opened the pillows days later, they were still damp and had developed mold. After contacting the support team about this issue, I was informed that all deliveries should be unpacked quickly since the warmth from the dryer can cause moisture in the bags, which they claimed was the reason for the dampness, rather than improper drying. They offered to look into having the items reprocessed, but I chose to discard the moldy pillows instead. I don't think it's fair to blame a customer for expecting dry items upon return, especially since no other laundry service has ever returned items to me in such a condition after several days. The company refused to refund the laundering cost or provide any resolution since I didn't report it within 72 hours, despite it clearly being their mistake for returning items that were wet. It raises the question of why charge so much for bulky items if they won't manage them properly?
