I came across this website while searching for therapy services and was shocked to see a therapist listing themselves as a "Psychologist" despite having only a BA (Hons) in psychology and a BA (Hons) in integrative counselling. In the UK, the title "Psychologist" is legally protected and can only be used by those who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which requires specific postgraduate qualifications and training. Misrepresenting professional qualifications undermines trust in the mental health sector. It’s disappointing that a company would allow such misleading claims on their profiles. I strongly advise caution when choosing services from this site.
