Writing personal stuff is scary ngl but Lawrence’s team handled it with care. I gave them journals, emails, random photos and they pieced together a timeline like detectives haha. They wrote it in first person so it still sounded like “me” not some random narrator. Even the emotional bits weren’t exaggerated just balanced. We had video calls every week to make sure my voice was consistent. They also helped choose chapter titles that weren’t boring. Formatting was memoir style with quotes + pullout sections which looked aesthetic. Revisions were fast usually within 2–3 days. It felt like therapy but with an actual book at the end. Felt AMAZING when I read my own life in print.
