I had to cancel an order for £1698I placed an order on line with Witham Timber whom I have used many times before with no problems at all. However, I learned that Witham had been taken over by Lawsons. Shortly after placing the order, I contacted Witham Timber to add a few items to my order. I was told that they were not handling my order and told me to contact Lawsons on line a new gave me their number. I was initially treated with respect and given a delivery date. When this delivery was not made I contacted Lawsons on line again and was treated with total disrespect being told to ring another branch of Lawsons as everything was in stock. From this point I was fed a load of lies and excuses that do not warrant including in this review.. Eventually, I was told by my local branch that thw order was loaded and would be delivered albeit over a week late. When it arrived only half the order was on the truck. The driver was embarrassed, as some of the items were even incorrect. I did not accept the delivery and cancelled the order. I was refunded the next day. What a shame that Witham Timber is now part of a dysfunctional Company.Needless to say I will not be using any of Lawsons outlets again. Keith Evans
