It has been 30C here today and Jamie and Andrew from Leeds stove centre have been at my house all day installing my new wood burning stove - and they haven’t stopped all day, until they finished. Believe me it was hard work. A 30 year old fireplace and hearth to take out and remake. A chimney to sweep, new flue to put in, new lintel. New fire to instalThey have done a fantastic job.And they were very respectful of my house: sheeted up everywhere and tidied up after themselves - though it was still messy because of the fine dust from the chimney, the brickwork, and the plastering. Jamie showed me how to light the stove, though we stopped short of actually doing so - at 30c who could blame us! I’m very pleased.Highly recommend.
