The fit and finish is second to non. It really turns head at the local private pool my son and I take it to. I dont have much new to criticize, just to recap; I mentioned the P1 lites I have have the charger port covered with a screw down cap.. it was on so tight originally that I assumed it was for company diagnostics. I eventually realized it was the charging port, I used a pair of pliers to undo it. It did get easier eventually but, I find that I struggle with getting the caps to thread on properly to this day. Ive been told to add a little lube to make it easier already.
I have yet to change the wiring for the SUP mount I purchased recently.. so, I can't offer insight on my experience doing that yet. That said, it looks finicky and I dont see videos online giving tutorials on hat specific processes. I'm sure ill figure it out when the time comes.
Other then that I'm very impressed and eyeing sales on the larger units so my son and I can run duel units at the same time.
I do have reservations on letting my son use them in a lale environment. Out of concern that in an emergency situation he could drop the unit in deep water.. I know the strap is there to prevent such an occurrence but, I want him to drop it if he needs too, like if he is struggling to catch his breath (or myself for that matter). I see ou offer weight reduction. Maybe there's an option for a float in the future? Its a rare situation.
