After almost 2 years of running a credit card smoothly, and a lot of knock backs and jumping through hoops I finally got the loan I was after with a decent interest rate so I'm very happy , credit building has been a very slow process, but what bemuses me the most is as little as 5 months ago , I was in a score bracket where I was constantly asked to forward images of pay slips or to prove my income, where as now I've jumped into the excellent credit score category, my application sailed through not requiring any proof at all , surly to god the 18 months of running my credit card from the same company, plus several other cards sensibly and never missing a single payment was sufficient to trust me to pay back a loan, mmmm, apparently not ,
So as a result of that , my plans have had to be put on hold and my health is not as good as it was, so if I'd had access to the funds 6 months ago, my life would have been a lot easier now. The scoring system really needs to change and not be so strict.if I hadn't had to wait and jump through so many hoops and take so many knockbacks, the star rating would be a 5 for certain, as once you're on board with them , a decent enough lender to work with. Helpful, informative and efficient.
