Initial process applying online seemed easy. After filling out ALL of the information you get a screen that says, "more information required. An agent will call or Call this #. After speaking to the agent your loan options will be displayed here. (i.e. on the webpage)" I opted to call the 800# and that's where everything went downhill fast. They asked for all the same information I just input into their website, scheduled another call for me to talk with someone else, then the someone else said they didn't have my information, then, "OH, we have your information, it was something on our side." Once we cleared that up it was more questions for information either input into the website or that the previous agent collected. At this point I requested they withdraw my application and went to SoFi. The entire process applying, getting approved with SoFi took 8 minutes! Yes, 8 minutes.
