They went WAY above & beyond!!My first experience with this company was horrific, BUT not in the way these reviews typically go. First - the sign up was easy, simple & fast. Stock was available on the dates I wanted. Shipping & prices great. Then the 1st mishap. I watched an unmarked courier van pull up at my neighbours at the time of my delivery, he knocked once & left. Nothing out of the ordinary except I get a message from the courier to say "sorry we missed you, your parcel will be taken to the local post office!!" The driver (not a staff member of Lenses for hire) had visited the wrong address!! So I had to go & collect. to be very clear, this mistake had nothing to do with Lenses for Hire. It was the local numpty courier driver.I checked the contents & sadly there had been an honest mix up at the company's dispatch - wrong lens.I called, they apologised, admitted the issue & what happened next is something that should be reported in the best Customer Service manuals on earth. They paid for delivery of the correct lens, at their expense, so that my shoot could go as planned. I believe their cost was truly eye watering & exceed my rental fee (by a LOT), but they insisted it was an extremely rare occurrence & literally made everything perfect. My shoot went without issue, product was as expected, happy client & I was literally gob smacked with the level of service & genuine care the company showed. Even to the point the individual that made the honest mistake sent me an email to apologise. Very, very few companies these days bend over backwards to serve customers. I could not be happier or speak more highly of this company & the team. I'll be certainly using them again (and crash tackling the useless local courier drivers in the street). Use this service in full confidence. If I could add another star for outstanding service I would.
Extremely happy with how easy and smooth this process was. I booked the Tamron 35-150mm for five days. The lens was exactly as described and in perfect working condition.Luckily the DPD delivery and drop off was on time and without any issues. I'm happy with the service and plan on using LFH in the future.
