This is the second time I buy the lamps for my houses with Lampenwelt GmbH in the Irish version (Lights.ie) and an additional one with Lampara.es (Spanish company)
When it comes to this last Irish order, one of the lamp's shades came broken. When I reached out to the customer support team, they offered basically either a refund (once you send the lamp back to them) or a replacement of the broken one, placing a new order and returning the broken one.
None of them worked for me as either you have to pay in advance for a new lamp or wait a few days/weeks until they received the lamp and then get the refund to buy a new one. So basically you, as a customer, taking care of all the delivery process back to them and/or anticipating money and waiting for a refund. On top of that, I already paid the handyman who hung the lamp so that will mean paying him again. I have to say that It was my fault as I didnt check each and every one of the lamp shades before the installation.
I finally proposed them a half way solution involving buying a smaller lamp from the same collection not to pay too much money in advance and they werent even able to cover for the total amount of the delivery cost, only providing a % discount code that did not fully cover the delivery cost of the new lamp.
Summarizing, It is not easy to deal with them when it comes to return faulty items. As a customer, you are frustrated because of it and you are looking for ways that quickly solve your problem and that, unfortunately, you cant find it with their customer support team.
