Late notification of non-delivery

I placed an order around 1 PM on 31/12/26, and the website indicated it would be delivered that day. At 5 PM on the same day, I received a message stating the package couldn't be delivered due to holiday closures and that I would receive a refund. By then, it was too late to order from another florist. The gift was for a birthday and New Year’s Day on 1/1. Very disappointing.
