Bought new bike from Lings Harleston last May. I was lied to about service costs by salesman Aaron. Reported a couple of minor issues with the bike which were never dealt with. After sales from Aaron at Harleston has been non existent. Shockingly bad . I’ve bought 8 bikes in the last 10 years all from dealers, this is the first and last time I’ll be purchasing ANYTHING from Lings .IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY FROM LINGS BELOW:You say to call you but call who exactly? Would be nice to have a name and I gave up trying to call Aaron.To address your words about service costs, at the point of sale Aaron told me that the second service would cost me £199 only to be told at the service desk that it’s £430 would obviously raise questions. Also, I should’nt need to point out that, the air filter is under the riders seat and is a 5 minute job. So your quote of £430 (2.5 hrs + parts) for oil change, oil filter, air filter is extortionate to say the least !Anyway, I’ve done it myself, and even with my limited tools it took me just 45 minutes. Parts were £80.Can’t imagine that you care so you’ll be pleased to know that I won’t be popping in anytime soon ….. or later for that matter.
