I bought my LYTH-TECH SMART CHAIR XL1 about 4 months ago. I had bought two mobility scooters in the past which proved to be really unreliable and unsuitable for my needs. Having these scooters made me lose my confidence going out and I had to rely on my NHS manual wheelchair for getting about and as I am no lightweight, my husband struggled pushing me. He is 81. I spent weeks looking for the right product for my needs and came across Toby St George on a Google search. I was impressed that Toby was more concerned with me having the right product for my situation. He did not use pressure tactics to secure a sale. He has extensive knowledge of the mobility problems experienced by disabled people. He is not just a salesman in a mobility shop looking to maximise sales. He himself has designed an excellent range of robust, reliable products that are so easy to fold down and open up. The twin batteries take away the worry of breaking down with a flat battery. I did need to use the second battery when I was out shopping much longer than I intended before Christmas. The main battery ran down and it was so simple to switch the cable over to the reserve battery. The chair is not a cheap item but when I considered that I had already spent a similar amount buying 2 mobility scooters that were unreliable and made me afraid to go out! My Smart Chair has given me freedom to go out without worrying about breakdowns. It is comfortable and copes with dropped kerbs and hilly areas. It is worth every penny and I would recommend this chair and Toby St. George’s company to anyone without hesitation.
