I attended Liverpool FC’s Brodie’s hospitality lounge at Anfield yesterday as a present from my son and his wife, and it was a truly memorable experience.The food was very good and well presented and plenty of, the complimentary drink at half-time was a nice added touch. All of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, which really added to the enjoyment of the day.Although the Liverpool v Leeds match ended 0–0, the occasion itself more than made up for the lack of goals. It was my very first game at Anfield, making it all the more special. My son and I travelled down from Dundee, Scotland leaving at 7am and arriving in Liverpool around midday. Before the match we laid flowers at the 97 memorial, which was a very moving and important moment for us.My only small criticism would be that there didn’t appear to be quite enough seating in the lounge for the number of guests attending, plenty seats empty with a jacket or jersey in place, aside from that, everything was excellent and I’d certainly hopefully be in attendance again. Overall, a fantastic hospitality experience at Brodie’s and a day I will always remember. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking to make a matchday at Anfield truly special.
