Travelled from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh with my toddler granddaughter - catering staff (Sam, manager) went above and beyond when I was unable to order a cup of tea to my seat. Not only did he give me sandwiches, crisps and a Diet Coke as a very kind gesture, he later appeared at my seat with a cup of tea and a packet of biscuits - what a kind and thoughtful man and a credit to LNER, along with his colleague, who was equally thoughtful. Train was also on time and carriage was clean and comfortable.
