I am not able to logon to my social security account. Login.gov process fails, saying it cannot validate my I.D. I have a PO Box mailing address and a physical home address. Social Security has my PO Box as my official address. But, my state driver's license has my physical location address (my state does not allow PO Box on driver's license). The public credit reporting agencies have my PO Box address, but not my physical address, because I have not applied for credit since moving to my new/current physical address. Apparently, the folks at Login.gov never anticipated such a situation. SS rep told me even they cannot login to my account. So, I get emails from SS saying I have a message to review, and to logon to my SS account to read the messages, since I've opted for electronic notifications. SS gave me a phone number for Login.gov support. No humans to speak to. Just computer-generated emails with instructions for troubleshooting the process at Login.gov that doesn't work. There needs to be human intervention sometimes. I have filed a complaint with my congressional representative. Things worked fine before Login.gov got involved with SS.
