I had a horrible experience at this clinic. It is my opinion that the pricing for procedures is not transparent enough from the outset. I had less than 60 seconds with the surgeon before I was sent for pricing. The pricing on the website stated that the procedure costs start "from £295". no further information on pricing was provided until AFTER my 60 second consultation. I was then quoted £1800 for the minor operation to remove a cyst. surprised, I declined this cost after the employee tried to further haggle with me over the price... once I declined I was informed that the 60 second consultation would cost me £295 and the clinic was happy to send me on my way. It is my opinion that this practice borders on predatory behaviour. I was left stunned, angry, and felt that I had been scammed out of £295 to confirm a diagnosis which the NHS had already given me. Given that the practice has a detailed pricing sheet which ranges wildly in cost, it is curious that only “from £295” is the only available pricing information on their website. Had I known that this procedure could range into the thousands, then I may have considered other options, and I most certainly would not have opted to pay £295 for a diagnosis I already had.I will be seeking a refund.
