My Hat is off to Lonestar and their tech support team.My pressure washing trailer was stolen a month ago, thanks to the oyster 2 alerting me I was able to notify the police, even though being overwhelmed with stolen items, they were a little slow to respond, the oyster 2 continued to check in with its location, tech support added a geofence the further pinpoint the location, when the police got around to looking into my case they were able to find my equipment exactly where the oyster 2 indicated it was located. Kudos to Lonestar tracking and the oyster 2, I was able to get my property back.
I have a very expensive piece of equipment. I have a lonestar tracker and two others just because I want to make certain I can locate it in the event it gets stolen. Recently it was moved without my permission while I was asleep. Lonestar was the only tracker that alerted me before it stopped moving. I made a phone call and as it turns out the movement was legitimate but had it been an actual theft, lonestar was the device that worked the best. I sleep better knowing the lonestar device is on my equipment. THANK YOU LONESTAR!
It took me awhile to actually pull the trigger on putting GPS tracking on company vehicles. I wasn’t sure if I was going to tell them or not. I didn’t for a couple days as I tried to get a feeling of what they were actually doing or not doing. I should have got them years ago. I got the Titans with all the features. Being able to see how long vehicles are parked or if they are off route is huge. After I told them and they calmed down they are all in line with why I hired them. Service has been great. I’ve called a few times to get further info on app etc. I highly recommend.
We have used the Oyster GPS from Lonestar Tracking on all three of our Great Pyrenees for over a year. We learned about Lonestar from the TX A&M livestock guardian dog program. The customer service has been excellent and rapid any time we had a question. The tracking has been accurate. We are 5 miles down a dirt road so pretty remote. Our ATT cell phone service is pretty good here. The GPS units themselves are very tough and withstand heavy play and all outdoor conditions. We have them attached to the collars with a thin coated metal cord secured with a U bolt. We tried a different company, WhistIe, that provided dog specific GPS units. Those units were quickly damaged and gave erroneous alerts multiple times a day (and night). Got a full refund from that company.
