Louis Boyd founded the company in September 1960, when he was just 26 years old, as one of the first dedicated menswear retailers in the town of Newry. Louis Boyd Fashions, as we were then known, grew hugely in popularity providing the people of Newry with brands and styles that they had rarely seen before.
Over the years, men and women got a taste of top brands and new styles, such as tapered trousers, slim fit shirts, jeans and more, all of which were available at Louis Boyd's.
Today, the business has evolved to house many branches across 5 locations in Newry, Craigavon and Belfast. Louis Boyd now specialises in casual wear, footwear, formal wear, as well as hiring/buying of menswear for formal occasions.
