Don't be fooled by Bruce's sales tactics

I signed up to Bruce's free intro session. He has apparently been running this business for years but the bulk of reviews on here are from 2025, with the oldest one posted in August 2024. Everything about the intro session has been made to look like it's live, but it's not; Bruce tries hard to persuade you of this as he mentions the attendees, making a point of saying names and locations of people, there is a live chat but you are only messaging admins and can't see the comments of others, and Bruce asks questions via polls throughout the session where you have about 10 seconds to answer and then he pointedly looks at his screen and tells everyone the results. When you sign up, the course starts at a specific time & there are a number of start times each day. There is NO WAY a company would run live free taster sessions like this. If it were live, it would be way too costly/time intensive for Bruce. The 90min intro did not tell me anything I didn't already know from reading I've done on relationships, included a terrible worksheet which just reeled off quotes from Bruce in huge font with some words missing that you are meant to fill in (what a waste of 17 sheets of paper!), and I actually switched off after 45 mins once Bruce started his sales pitch. I'd seen enough. Please please please, don't be put off seeking help from other sources; books & couples counselling are legitimate sources of help which Bruce does his best to deter you from accessing, saying these resources won't help you, which, in my opinion, is a disgraceful thing to say. Don't be fooled by Bruce's tactics, he is preying on your relationship desperation...don't waste your money! ____________________________________Edit: Thanks Bruce, I am glad to have confirmation from you and your team that the session is not live. It is good to have that evidence listed here to help others decide whether to work with you. Maybe you should update the way you do things so this is more transparent. The first email I received after watching the session said 'Thanks for showing up to the masterclass today. I noticed that you had to dash out a bit early. I totally get it. Life happens', which still makes it sound like the session was live. After I emailed some feedback in response, the Love At First Fight team then reached out and did confirm the session was a recording. So why would a company include a working messaging feature and a working poll during a session when it is a recording?...to try and convince people it is live! Because a live session is more effort and makes Bruce look more legitimate in his hard work to help people. This is my main concern as it is misleading, especially for someone who you are looking to trust with your relationship health.Bruce then emailed me to ask me to update or remove my review. I did not respond to this but then received an email from Trust Pilot with a form from Love At First Fight requesting contact details from me in order to verify my review. At no point has this company had my phone number and I am not happy to give them this information. The catch with this request is that if the details are not provided, your review is deleted! So I have gotten in touch with Trust Pilot to verify my review with them instead. If this review is still here then it has been verified.Bruce may be able to teach you some useful things, but it won't be anything you can't learn elsewhere. And I stand by my statement that it is disgraceful to try to put people off seeing a therapist or finding help in books just to try to persuade them to spend money on your course. Find someone to help you who is qualified. Not all therapists are $500 per session, Bruce!Oh, and I went and watched the rest of your sales pitch via the link your team sent me just to make sure I had all of the information. I still sand by my review.
