Six months ago I bought a pair of Raymond work boots in brown leather. I was told by Lucchese staff to buy a size larger which turned out to be correct. Unfortunately the leather uppers absorb water like a sponge. A walk across wet grass will quickly get you a pair of wet sox. Don't even consider washing your truck in these. They won't be dry until the next day. I've worn Lucchese boots for 40+ years and never had this happen. These boots are made in Mexico and maybe that has something to do with the leather quality. I guess I'll just wear these to church.
