I booked a door pickup from my residence in the USA and door delivery to my residence in Hyderabad, India with LTS, shipped through FedEx. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst shipping experience I have ever had.Once my shipment reached Bengaluru, a FedEx associate called me and said that it had been booked under cargo. I was told that for it to be delivered to my home, I would need to pay an exorbitant amount. To make matters worse, they bluntly stated that door delivery is not even provided in India, the receiver must come in person, collect the shipment, and even clear it with customs, despite the fact that the shipment only contained used clothes.This information was never disclosed at the time of booking. As a result, I wasted an entire day trying to deal with this, with no proper assistance from either LTS or FedEx. The entire process was frustrating, disorganized, and mentally exhausting.If you are planning to ship luggage to India, my strongest recommendation is: don't. Carry it as extra baggage on your flight. At least you’ll avoid the stress, wasted time, hidden costs, and complete lack of accountability.Mental peace is worth more than money and this experience with LTS and FedEx was nothing but a nightmare.
