I purchased an 18k gold vermeil necklace (£61) and only wore it once. Unfortunately, I noticed patchy dark discolouration on the chain, including areas that did not come into contact with skin.I contacted the company with photos, but they attributed it to “normal wear” and would not offer a free repair or replacement. Instead, I was asked to pay for re-plating or purchase a replacement.I was disappointed with both the product durability and the after-sales service, especially given the item was only worn once. Based on my experience, I would advise others to consider this before purchasing.
