We pre-booked a Lynx taxi to take us to a restaurant in Alderley Edge from Handforth at 7.00 pm last night on the Lynx App.Their App told me that the driver was on his way and then that he had arrived. We went outside immediately and there was no taxi there. The App then told me we had been picked up - which obviously we hadn't !! The App tracked the taxi all the way to Manchester Airport, so it appears that the driver decided he wasn't going to pick us up and instead chose an airport run. I then rang Lynx and the only thing that the operator said was that he couldn't help because there were no free taxis for around an hour - this was the reason why I pre-booked.I am a regular Lynx user and this has never happened before. However, this sort of behaviour will make me stop using Lynx taxis in the future.Very annoying !!
