Genuine review from a single male's perspective. Been on and off the site for nearly 10 years. Met some nice people, actually met in person and had some sort of relationship (casual or otherwise).But it's bloody hard work for a number of reasons and I only message a few people, not a cast my net wide approach.This is my experience:99% of messages go unread.Of the 1% who might read a message, 99% do not reply or they delete - which is fine.Of the 1% who read, about 1% reply.Of the 1% who reply, 99% don't read your profile and 99% of the time nothing happens - chat ends even when it seems to be going good, or they have so many obstacles/preferences/insecurities etc etc that it's not worth the effort.In a nutshell, there are far too many men compared to women, so women are inundated with messages. They can't read them all, so mass delete, take a dim view of all the men or are scared off. The site knows this and does nothing in regards to the user experience of the site to make it better.Not worth paying, but you can be free and still meet.Just be prepared to put in a lot of effort.And look out for the idiots and the abusers. There are plenty of those from both sexes, plus a load of scammers and women asking for money and other things.
