I recently sold a MacBook Pro 16” (M2 Pro, 12-core CPU, 19-core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) to MacFinder and overall I was very disappointed with the experience.I was initially quoted £990, which was then reduced to £705 after inspection due to what were described as screen marks. In my opinion, these marks were very minimal and did not affect normal use, so the scale of the reduction felt excessive and unreasonable.More concerning was how my device was returned. The original box came back dented, and the MacBook itself was returned in a noticeably dirty condition with visible physical dirt on it, despite being sent in clean and well-presented. This shows a lack of care in handling customers’ items. The whole process also took around two weeks, which is longer than expected for what should be a straightforward transaction. While communication was clear and they did offer to return the device at no cost, the overall experience was poor. Based on this, I would personally advise others to be cautious and consider alternative options, as initial quotes can change significantly and the handling of items may not meet expectations.
