When you sign up they force you to do it without setting a password by doing it through Google or Apple. The problem is that you can then get locked out of your account and there is no way back in. They don’t send confirmation emails when you buy a subscription so it seems like a scam set up to trap you on subscriptions that you can’t use or cancel. Support don’t respond to emails and the discord server they mention you should contact for support is private. This is a shame as I thought the product was okay. But it’s absolutely not acceptable to charge people for a service they can’t use.

Here's why:**Ridiculous Credit Consumption**Credits are wasted on the most basic tasks. Just generating a 5-minute storyline costs 500-600 credits before you even start creating any video. Add the credits for actual video generation, and 10,000 credits disappear in no time. Even with the Pro plan, you can barely produce 4 videos per month. This isn't just exaggeration in their marketing—it's outright false advertising.**Terrible Character Quality**The character generation is shockingly bad. Google's FREE image generation AI produces characters that are far more beautiful and detailed. The characters MagicLight generates look crude and aesthetically awful.**Horrible UX**The interface feels like it was designed with no coherent plan—features are scattered everywhere like random patchwork. Navigation is frustrating and unintuitive.**Severe Voice Limitations**You can only use ONE voice type per scene. So if you have two characters talking in the same scene? Too bad—only one of them gets a voice. The selection of available voices is also extremely limited, and the quality is inconsistent. Some voices literally have background noise—as if they recorded the voice samples on a phone without any proper audio setup.**No Subtitle Customization**You cannot adjust subtitle size or position at all. While you can select fonts, the options are extremely limited.**Conclusion**MagicLight might work as an "AI experience" tool for elementary school kids in a classroom setting, but that's about it. The professional-quality video production they advertise? Nearly impossible to achieve. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The outputs mixed different styles, changed character appearances, and didn’t follow my script, making it impossible to continue the project. This was especially important because it was for a serious contestI contacted support and wrote to both of their support addresses, explaining the situation and requesting a refund. I received one reply offering only a proportional refund for the unused credits, but this does not solve the fact that the credits I already used produced unusable results for my project. After that first reply, they stopped respondingI am requesting a full refund, since the service did not work for the specific and serious purpose for which I subscribed.If the company resolves this fairly, I will gladly update my rating.
