My experience at Maharishi Yogapeeth was nothing short of "life-changing". It has helped me find individuality in life.Before arriving at the school, I expected the "know-how" of yoga asanas and yoga styles throughout the day. I only knew yoga to be a slower and mindful form of exercise.However, attending the school changed my perspective entirely. I learned through the variety of subjects, such as Yoga Philosophy and Anatomy, that Yoga holds more meaning than simple physical exercise.The selection of their teachers is outstanding. They have decades of experience, are polite and accommodating of our limited understanding, and go out of their way to explain complex concepts.The Ashram location overlooks the fierce Ganges River in its full might. The Sunrise and Sunsets from the Yoga Hall and the Rooftop - alone are the biggest advantages of the school! The view is spectacular!Food served is mainly Sattvik and hence, easily digestible. The administration cares about food allergies and likes/dislikes, and will modify to the preferences of the collective.Beyond all the points mentioned, the ashram life at Maharishi Yogapeeth follows discipline, and there is no opportunity to procrastinate.
