I’ve had various electric travel guitars in the past,(mini Hofner shorty…traveler electric...Blackstar carry-on …etc)…None of them really played & felt that close to a full sized guitar & were a bit toy like…I ordered this Makeev,(modern Basic with custom option for a brass nut upgrade & a push/pull coil splitter ), as on my last flight I wasn’t allowed to put my travel guitar in the overhead bin… this one will definitely be more discreet as it goes straight into my carry on case once folded.Ivan got back to my emails promptly & the whole process was pretty smooth…I did get a bit mixed up when specifying the volume/tone as I referred to the picture of the model I was ordering instead reading the specs …but no big deal.From ordering to arriving in Australia the whole thing took about 6-7 weeks I think.It played pretty much straight out of the box & stays in tune right up the neck…well made bit of kit too…looking forward to using it at a few overseas open mics/jams etc.
