SUBSCRIBERS BEWARE: I enrolled in Headway under a promotional trial, but never received a confirmation email, receipt, or any indication that my subscription went through. Despite that, I was immediately charged an additional $19.99. I contacted support requesting a refund because I couldn’t access the app or website, and received no response.When I attempted to cancel through their site, it only canceled part of the subscription. I was then charged $28.55 for another month—still with no access. After reaching out again, I was told they “don’t offer refunds” and that I had agreed to the charges, even though I had never been able to use the service. Only after I complained a third time did they suddenly grant access—conveniently after I had already paid for a month I couldn’t use.The pattern is clear: unexplained charges, partial cancellations, no access to paid content, and dismissive customer service. In my experience, this is not a trustworthy company. If you value your time and money, avoid Headway entirely.
