Following a RTA in 1997 while working for West Midland Police (Civilian) and losing my job through this injury, unfairly. The process has been a nightmare for me and my wife for quite a while not understanding what was going on in my head, no support from Occupational Health, but HEADWAY have been superb. Whenever I have asked for help they do their best without pushing you too far. They are the only organisation who really understand the problems people go through with head injuries, sometimes far more than doctors. When I die they are being remembered in my will.
