Manulife used to be good a couple years back for processing their claims. I used to receive a payment within 1-2 days max. Now it was the opposite. I called last week to check the status of my claim and I got the worst customer service ever. She was not only so slow and inexperienced, I was on hold a few times and she was very rude. She insisted that I resend the receipt image in a way that she can read. When I submitted the claim, i know it was aligned in a correct and readable direction, nothing was cut off whatsoever. This experience was unbelievable as it was the first time an agent ever complained and asked me to resend an image. It has been almost a month now since I submitted my claim and I still haven’t receive a payment. I don’t understand why their services have gone down. I find that this is really not fair as many of us are struggling having to pay our bills.
