Many Tears are the biggest rescue in Wales and I think that because of this, they have become very lax in their procedures and protocols. They skip home checks and place dogs with unsuitable families. I know this to be true because they placed a Great Dane, in my village, with a family without any checks. The house had a 3 foot fence (which couldn't have kept a Jack Russell in, let alone a Great Dane). The dog tried to attack the postman, who then refused to deliver directly to the house, showed aggressive behaviour to other dogs on walks and then went on to jump the garden fence and viciously maul and kill a Greyhound dog, who was just walking passed the house with her owner. Many Tears Rescue went on to treat the Greyhounds family appallingly. They lied continuously to the family stating that they weren't aware that the Great Dane had previously shown aggression to other dogs but on the dogs adoption page it stated exactly this and warned that he had to be in a muzzle when taken out in public. I feel that Many Tears may have become too big and money is being put before the welfare and care of the animals. They take monthly trips to Ireland to bring back puppies from the Irish puppy farms which bring in huge amounts of money for the Charity. A lot of these puppies are being put out for adoption without the necessary health checks and owners are being left devastated when their new puppies become very ill or even worse, die. I would advise anyone looking for a rescue animal to look elsewhere. Their Trust Pilot review score is appalling and it seems that quite a few "Excellent" reviews have all been put on all at the same time which seems a little suspicious to me.AVOID. AVOID. AVOID
