I have been lucky enough to adopt 2 rescued ladies from ex breeders who came via Many tears. On both applications I found the process thorough and fair. Both foster mums were lovely, giving me time to introduce my resident dog to the new addition to our family. Both of my rescue ladies have settled and are happy. They both still jump at loud noises or cower if they are surrounded by too many people, but I assume their early life still causes them slight anxiety. Its about time abusive breeding of these poor animals is banned. I only have admiration for anyone that saves animals from distress. Thank you MTAR and the many wonderful foster carers (cherrie in Essex with Rusley, now Tilly and Silvia I think, in Buntingford who had Dixieland, now Dixie 7 years ago). Both girls are happy and living life by the sea.
