Two and a half years ago, my daughter sent me details of a totally shut down cocker spaniel called Windy, and so my many tears journey began. I applied and underwent a telephone interview and a thorough home check that involved making some alterations to my garden. That done we set off to collect my first rescue who was in foster in Wakefield. Three months later I saw another ex breeder on the website and I knew she would fit right in so I applied. Another thorough home check as this girl was considered to be a high flight risk and some fencing was raised for added security. This girl was also in foster, this time in Essex and her foster mum spoke with me on the phone a few times before we made the journey. This girl had been let down and so we had to get it right. We travelled to Essex, fell in love and came back with our beautiful girl. Adopting from foster through Many Tears means there’s always someone that knows your dog really well and can give you advice based on knowledge and experience. Two years on and I still share our joys with the wonderful foster mums. Thank you
