I ordered last Wednesday for a Saturday delivery that never arrived. When I called, I was told they would call me back, but they didn't. I then received a notification that it had been dispatched, but I had to check to ensure it wasn’t an old delivery. I was very disappointed. The pies were lovely, but the mash and liquor were awful. The liquor had no flavor except for a strange aftertaste, which was not the usual fragrant parsley flavor. I'm a fan of another place, so perhaps it's just not to my taste. Poor service and not worth the price.

M.Manze opened back in 1902, serving up a delightful array of dishes inspired by the Cockney cooking traditions of the East End. It's one of London's few remaining "eel & pie" houses, with a concise but hearty menu of pie or eel with mash and liquor.
