I am a first time author. Maple publishers were the first publishers I had called, just for advice on self publishing. John was given the outline of what I was going to be writing about. He categorised my book to be my memoirs, and encouraged me to publish my book. I was helped all the way through to the end, with advice and help. The Jack and Walter series are self help books with a sprinkling of wisdom and humour in equal measure. The first one being “The Banterless Breakfast Mystery” a bereavement story. It’s mostly a story about the love between a Grandma and her Grandson and how he helps her reflect on the passing of her husband with love and hugs from himself (Jack) and his special friend Walter.
