My experience with maple publishers has been excellent. They have been very efficient timewise, and the end result is a well laid out high quality book. I am very pleased with the cover design and also with how the inside of the book looks. They were also very patient and understanding with any changes I felt I needed to make, which made the overall process run very smoothly. And also they were very quick and punctual with their emails.
Maple Publishers have been excellent for me, especially in the wonderful colour illustrations they have done for all of my books. They have really made my characters come to life. Also, they have provided excellent proof-reading and book layout, and done a really professional job. My latest book is 'The Dream Merchants and Other Tales', and is a collection of short Fantasy stories. I have also written two children's stories 'The Perilous Adventures of Sammy Squirrel' and 'The Further Adventures of Sammy Squirrel.' These have all been published by Maple, and I'm delighted with the results! Steven J. Scott
Maple Publishers are a very good company and do exactly what they say. If they do make mistakes they’ll own up to them and put right whatever is required. The communication between publisher and author is extremely good and they always keep you updated on the progress of everything. The design team and brilliant and take onboard all the ideas of how you want the book cover to look, at times they may suggest other ideas they think may also work better. Overall I’m happy with the end result!
My mother used to say it would be a disservice to a child who does something good and you don't say it, or commend the child. I am generally satisfied with the high level of customer service l received all through my book publication project. And, even though l had some initial doubts about Publishers based on what l gathered about many "shark Publishers" out to rip off their clients, however, Maple 🍁 handled my book project, "THE GIRL IS MINE", with a high degree of professionalism, while answering any questions l had along the way.The icing on the cake is the final customised exciting Trailer which Pam and her team just finished.Wao...we LOVE it!
Maple publishers did brilliant Publishing my book.They also produced the illustration for the front cover.I am very pleased with my book.Their pricing was reasonable.Pam was always there to support me and give advice.I would advise other authors to use them, as I will.
During the design phase, I found them responsive. However, the final phases have been most stressful. The production costs are exorbitant! It is a cookbook with pictures. I paid for premium paper. I bought a specific children's book they had published to confirm the quality of paper. However, my pictures are printed on matt paper.It has taken weeks to list on Amazon. They are still unable or rather they tell me they are unable to direct Amazon on how to list the versions. It is my understanding that Amazon will list the information you provide.They still haven't listed the paperback version. I am not just looking to discredit the company. I actually acknowledged them in the manuscript, it is the last phase that has been most stressful. I found a local printer that has quoted have the price on silk paper etc. It is listed on Waterstones without a picture of the book - deliverable in 6 - 7 weeks! Will I use this company again?? Definitely not! I wait for the listing etc to be rectified. I wish my experience is similar to the others here.
Maple Publishers stepped in to take over when another company totally messed up. They were friendly and professional from the first point of contact and were sympathetic to the treatment I had previously received. Their design team took on board the storyline and came up with an excellent front cover. Their attention to detail is brilliant and my project manager was always available and responded quickly to all of my questions, of which there were many. To sum them up they are friendly, professional and very patient, I would thoroughly recommend them to new and experienced authors.
