I am trying to book my honeymoon, which should be a happy experience. Marriott managed to make this an incredibly terrible experience - giving me conflicting information, having me call a variety of numbers to be serviced, booking the wrong places, telling me to change my honeymoon date (who does that??), and even advising me to book a different location for my honeymoon. I mean seriously, I couldn't make this up if I tried. Rule 1 of customer service - Don't tell people to change the date of their honeymoon and pick a different place...I would not advise anyone use Marriott. I had switched to them from the Hilton after hearing good things. Unfortunately, my experience has been 1-star at best and that's generous.
