In these times of Covid-19, you can forgive some companies for being slow to respond to customer needs.Marriott however sent out an email from their CEO offering refunds almost immediately, and the hotel actually contacted ME a few days later to see if I would like a refund on an upcoming booking.I accepted, and the funds were back with me the next day (it's worth mentioning this was an international booking).I will 100% be booking again with Marriott when my trip is rescheduled. I have absolute faith in them as an organisation to deal with, and they have 'won' serious goodwill from me, compared to some of their competitors who are less scrupulous about returning customers money. They are clearly a morally principled company, and were a pleasure to deal with in what could have been a stressful time. Well done Marriott!
