Nearing exchange we pushed for more direct communication and I have to say that from the Martin Tolhurst side of things, Sonya Perkins was brilliant with efficient phone calls and information regarding the exchange and completion dates. I think communication is imperative when completing such a stressful life event. We had no chain, the buyers were first time buyers and we were not buying, a simple buy and sell but it still took 4 and a half months. Be prepared for how long these things can take.
