01 June 2024 I purchased many Marvin Infinity fiberglass windows 15 years ago. These are superb windows and I have been very pleased with them. There are only 2 problems. (1) To open the windows for cleaning, you must click past a stop in the upper window lock. This releases the locks in the window jamb. (That is, pulls the catch from the jamb into the window itself.) Over time, once removed from the jamb, this lock will NOT RETRACT the catch so you can replace the window back into the jamb. (That is, it will not withdraw the catch back into the window itself.) The only work around is to have 2 people manually hold the catches in the retracted position and then the lock will release and you can replace the window. My greatest fear is that, since the mechanism is not working correctly now, eventually it will fail totally and I will not be able to remove or replace the window. (2) I made 4 telephone calls in the middle of a workday to Marvin for technical assistance. They never called me back. I have tried to contact the CEO/President to express my concerns. This is not possible. The company has been most uncooperative in permitting me to reach the person in charge.
