There were so many Spanish property companies out there, my wife and I didn’t know where to start. We attended the big overseas property exhibitions, but were bombarded with lots of unhelpful information and not much useful information. Having spoken to a very helpful and efficient young lady in MASA’s UK office (yes, there is one, we were surprised too) about what we were looking for, they suggested we attend one of their smaller events. We booked a property chat with Paul Payne in Brighton and it was the best thing we did! He was so helpful narrowing down what we were looking for/where, what we could get for our budget, recommending solicitors, etc. He even offered to travel with us on a MASA viewing trip, which was very reassuring. Our trip to Spain was fantastic, both Paul and his colleagues were extremely helpful, without putting us under any pressure. After three days with MASA we decided to go ahead with the purchase of a property in Playa Flamenca and we’ve never looked back! They took care of everything from arranging meetings with the notary, opening a Spanish bank account, transferring our funds to Spain, ALL the legals...even down to helping us arrange Sky TV and going furniture shopping. There really was no end to their helpfulness! We’ve had a few queries since buying our property and the MASA after-sales service has been invaluable. They even helped us to find the local bowls club! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MASA to anyone and have put several of my work colleagues in touch with Paul already. I know that we will always have a friend in Paul and am very grateful that we attended that exhibition in Brighton.
