I first heard about this program from an advertisement on youtube. I liked what I heard but I am generally skeptical of targeted ads. About a year later I had done more research into this program as well as other programs and decided to go with TRE. They had just started a program for beginners called Music Production 101. It taught all the basics from start to finish (production, mixing, & mastering). Our final project was to start and complete an original song applying what we learned. After completing this program there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to sign up for the full-blown TRE program to truly hone-in my skills. I have been in the program for about a year now and am halfway through. I have a decent amount of other things going on in my life so the work at my own pace structure has helped me. The price is also a plus. It is substantially cheaper than an official degree but I feel like I am learning the same things. If anything it cuts out the noise of a full blown school because I am learning the straightforward skills without a lot of extra filler. If you are looking for a program to learn how to do everything you need to write, mix, and master your music at a very affordable price, this is for you.
