Dorinda has created a unique gift in bringing together women of colour (WOC) taking them on a journey that allows them to reflect on the challenges of WOC. Hearing these lived experiences is what makes us stronger, my cohort were truly inspiring, and we lifted each other. I was fortunate to go on Day 1 and the Day 2 of the WOC programme. Day 1 allowed us to master our awareness and our authenticity as Leaders and how we build our personal brand. Day 2 allowed for reflections and to develop that strategic plan and effectively use our networks. It is Dorinda’s style and personal authenticity that brings this programme together like no other. She shares her personal journey and creates space in the room for others to share and how to learn from these lived experiences and feel empowered to take that next step, whether that be a challenge, overcoming a barrier or that next role.I will end on a quote from Serena Williams, which has been adapted. “The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another.
