Dear readers, I have taken MBB Offer Machine courses and I got an offer at McKinsey Paris in 2024. And I can tell you, that was my 3rd trial at McKinsey, I would not have gotten the offer without their support.I would recommend their program without any doubt for 3 reasons : 1- their case solving approach is less complex and grounded than the other stuff there is online. It is less time and energy-consuming since the method they use is straightforward and can solve any case without memorizing by heart dozens of frameworks.You can trust their experience because they both were ex-Engagement managers at McKinsey. Therefore conducting interviews was already part of their daily job, and they could figure out which qualities are necessary for candidates to stand out based on their past experience as recruiters. And they selected their coaches based on this same criterion. I do believe there is a huge difference between someone who has been a former MBB recruiter and someone who has not, that is why I followed them. 2- The coaching is customized according to your own performance. When entering the program, you have access to both a platform with videos but also and more importantly, you have access to several former Engagement managers recruiters which will challenge you on hard cases with various hurdles (insight-generation, case maths etc). I appreciated personally is the fact that they were transparent / honest about my learning curve and guided me when I was off-track. 3- Finally, I think the contractual relationship we have is fair. It is a one-shot investment to follow a whole program until you get an offer, there is no extra amount of money to pay, unlike other platforms. In my opinion, this is an investment in your career. Some people might be afraid to spend money on this type of training but I think it is less time and energy-consuming to follow their advice an 100% instead of relying on your own abilities to perform well since it's quite competitive nowadays.
