There are truly no words to express how disturbed I was by what I just witnessed at McAlister’s. A customer returned what appeared to be an incorrect food order to the manager, who then handed it to the food prep staff and asked, “How does it look?” — seemingly considering whether to serve it to the customer it was originally intended for.What’s worse, the food prep employees handled the returned food and then continued preparing other orders without washing their hands or leaving the area. This is a clear violation of basic food safety standards.Based on this experience, I can no longer consider this location a safe or trustworthy place to eat.
