Placed an order at 6:04 pm. Received message that it would arrive at 6:58 pm. Received another message, my order will arrive at 7:04, then another message, my order will arrive at 7:12 pm, then I received 3 more messages with the last one stating my order will arrive at 7:45 pm. Right after that message, I get a message that my order was cancelled @ 7:29 pm This is so unacceptable on every level. I called McAlisters to make sure my card was credited and to understand why this happened. I spoke with a female manager, she said her name so fast I didn't catch it. I told her what happened and she had the audacity to tell me that I didn't use their app, I used door dash, and my order was cancelled. I told her that I DID NOT use doordash, that I used McAlisters website to place my order. I told her I was looking at my order on my computer and the order was definitely placed on McAlisters website. She said she will go look on their computer and get back with me. She came back and said it was a glitch in their system. I don't know why I was being punished for their problem. She offered a free entree or she would refund my card. I told her blaming the customer for their error is a horrible way to treat customers. And, refund my card for the $16.64 Apparently, someone there called door dash to deliver my order. I spend a good amount of money at McAlisters to be treated like I don't matter. Well, not anymore...I'm done.
