Appalling company. My husband died in one of their beds whilst I held his hand and told him I loved him. After almost a week the bed is still in my front room and I can't bear to be there whilst it's looming large. Firstly they said it would be 10 days before they picked it up, although if the district nurses rang (they did) they would pick it up in 3 days. Now, after 3 days and having rung them, they say they will only pick up when it will be 2 weeks after his death and the receptionist was so unsympathetic and smug in her replies. She was horrible. She said that if I didn't agree to the booking it would stay there longer. I'm afraid I was so distraught (in tears) that I called her a heartless "". I still don't know when it will be collected. If they haven't the space to store them (she said that) then they shouldn't be overstretching themselves to make a profit from others suffering. My heart is broken and people like this do NOT help. It makes me wonder whether one day's use wasn't enough money for them ??
